Originally, this article was a list of 31 x 12 people's names but then I reduced it to just one person per date in a 12 month year. You could add a small number of bonus people to it in order to make it into a 31 x 12 list.

I wanted to have a visual image for each day of they year. So, a memory story involving that image would really be a prompt to remember the date.

But then I thought that most people reading this course want a long list system much longer than the BLOKES system of about 60 places at which to visualise prompts in sequence.

And I thought that I could have a system of 31 x 12 images; and if you want to use it for days in the year then the 31st October would be list 31's item 10; or the sequential list of peole could act as a peg system; or the people could be part of a bigger 520 animal person system discussed in the Shorthand Images article.

The images can all be people - and you can find loads of faces on the internet. Eg. Looking at famous birthdays sites which may have public domain images of people. However, I would use the animal people from the Animal People article (see the Shorthand Images article).:

I aim to adapt the 520 animal images (also mentioned in the Shorthand Images article) where, currently, the digit encrypted in each animal face is a facial effect on the animal's face. Eg. a beauty spot.

I would apply 31 uniforms to those animal people who feature here in this list where there is one person for each day of the year. I already have rules about what colour the uniforms are: the colour of the uniform would be the same colour that represents O, I, A, E, U, N, T, C, S, R in the colours article.

If, one day, you have learned a bigger or more suitable list system then you could apply this 31 x 12 system to be calendar day of the year prompts.

A visualised person can have a surname, a nickname, a favourite subject, a saying, and other trivia memorised as special to that person.

I used surnames in the original 00 to 99 system of people (see the earlier lesson) and maybe especially chosen nicknames could be applied to some of the 31 x 12 list of people.

One idea is to associate a chemical with a person - as a 'nickname'; and then, a chemical formula involving that chemical can have the person visualised rather than the text. I won't post a chemical reagents list here but you can see the potent possibility here of keywords from a syllabus being visualised as people.

While we are on the subject of calendars, there are mnemonic ways of telling someone the day of the week based on some maths. I can write more about it in the future but here are some graphics to get you thinking..

If each year has one of 7 digits and each month has 1 of 12 digits then you can add it up and add the day of the month such as 30th; and then divide it all by 7. The remainder indicates which day of the week the date is.

Note: When I made 100 cartoon people, I wanted their face colours to match this system.

At present, the digits of the answer coming out map to a different set of days of the week. I could minus a 1 from the answer to make it align with the original list of 7 digits:days. But a 0 needs to be treated as a 7, that way.

Maybe the list of 12 images for 12 months is of limited use. Why would I imagine a story involving a day image or action (1 to 31) and a month image if there is a system of images each representing a day and month together?: within the 31 x 12 images.

Also, if I want to remember major events of this year's January, I could have problems if I imagine a story involving the January tambourine image:

Next year, I would be using a tambourine image also for storing major events from next year's January. It is doable but it would be good to have 12 unique month images for this year and/or 12 other unique images for next year.

There might be a very structured approach to doing that; or maybe one would just note a news story image in January and rote learn that the image represents January of that year.

Another approach to knowing the day of a date that occurs this year is to think of Monday to Sunday as numbers 1 to 7 (for example); then represent January's first day of the month, February's first day of the month and March's first day of the month (the 1st day of each month) as a 3 digit number: in 2022, Saturday=6 in January, Tuesday=2 in February, and Tuesday=2 in March; so a 3 digit number is 622. 622 is matched, in this course, with a cartoon person image who has a name. So all 12 months of the year is 4 lots of 3 digit numbers: if you can learn the 4 relevant people in sequence then that is a quick way to get to the day that starts any month of this year. If you need to know the day of 10th February then you can deduce it from knowing that 1st February is a Tuesday.
